This attractive bright house offers VARIOUS OPTIONS: the four rooms can be arranged as desired into a living room and suite, bedroom(s), and a (dining) kitchen.
The SUNNY FRONT GARDEN with lots of greenery is located to the southwest. The also green, SHELTERED BACK GARDEN offers plenty of privacy and is accessible from the kitchen and the living/bedroom. In short, you can enjoy the sun at any time of the day.
This house is in a PRIME LOCATION. Within walking distance of the charming village of Bloemendaal with nice shops, a supermarket, and good restaurants and cafes. And close to the center of Haarlem, the dunes, and the beach. With GOOD ACCESSIBILITY by public transport and near the roads to Amsterdam, Alkmaar, Schiphol, and The Hague.
LIVING
You enter the house through the stairwell. The entrance with hall provides access to the bathroom, the separate toilet with fountain, the bedroom, and the spacious living room. This living room is sunny and bright thanks to the large windows and overlooks the front garden. There is a mantelpiece with a Smeg gas fireplace that adds extra atmosphere and warmth in the cold winter months. The living room has connecting doors to the room currently used as a bedroom but can also be included in the living area. That's the beauty of this house; with simple interventions, the function of the 4 rooms can be easily changed.
The "sleeping" room has access to the backyard.
COOKING
The kitchen has workspace and cupboard space on both sides. The countertop is made of low-maintenance natural stone and has two sinks. All built-in appliances are present: a combination microwave, extractor hood, fridge/freezer, four-burner gas stove, and dishwasher. The kitchen also has a door to the private backyard.
SLEEPING
There are two bedrooms. The master bedroom has ensuite doors to the living room and provides access to the sunny backyard. The second bedroom is modest in size and can serve well as a baby or children's room.
BATHING
The bathroom is tastefully executed in natural stone and has a delightful walk-in shower with a rain shower. There is a washbasin. This space is comfortably heated by underfloor heating.

There is plenty of storage space in this house: on the top floor of the complex, there is an indoor storage room. In the backyard, there is a cupboard for the central heating boiler and cleaning supplies. And then there is the spacious shed with connections for the washing machine and dryer.
OUTSIDE
Thanks to its location on the ground floor, this apartment has no shortage of outdoor space. There is a sunny front garden with lots of greenery facing southwest, overlooking meadows. According to the municipal ordinance, this view will remain: no construction will take place here. And there is a sheltered backyard with enough space for a lounge area and a large outdoor table.

NOTE FROM THE RESIDENT:
'What struck me about this house at the time was the light, and that turned out to be true for all seasons. In the summer, the sun is high, keeping it pleasantly cool in the living spaces. In winter, it reaches all the way to the back of the living room, providing plenty of light even on gray days.
Children can play safely in the enclosed backyard, but it's also an ideal place for pets. We often went cycling to the dunes and the beach, and walking is possible everywhere in the wider area. The Kennemerduinen and the Waterleidingduinen are within cycling distance, and the many estates are worth exploring. The cozy village center has an extensive range of restaurants and, of course, Albert Heijn and Hema can also be found there. For those who enjoy nightlife, Haarlem is an option, but also Amsterdam: it's only 15 minutes by train, with free parking at the station. For those staying at home, the view remains wonderful, with cows, calves, and sheep on the other side in warmer months, as well as many foraging birds, including storks. Garden birds are frequent visitors in both the front and back gardens. All in all, a privileged place to live.'
